I just remembered the name of the class I was curious about, it was the Miantonomoh class double turreted Monitor. I don't believe anyone has done that one yet.

Post Civil War European Tour and restationing in San Francisco. The towers over the turrets provided elevated conning positions and elevated the ships compasses away from magnetic interference from the iron hull.
