ALVAMA and I were both working on an anime ship... to not upset you guys too much by putting it all in different topics, we decided to put them all in an 'anime ships' thread :D which you guys could just ignore if you want.... I draw the CVN-56 not because it is good looking (of course it isn't) but because it is in one of my favourite anime's.... and it was good practise to do. hope I've given nobody an heart attack ..... will do some real designs again after this.

Yes, but what is that? It looks like some Star Trek ship crashed into a Nimitz class carrier. Are there other pics to make more clear what it really looks like?

this is most of what is shown of the carrier in the OVA... it is only featured in one episode, and this vid is the battle scene in that episode.

There are some interesting anime designs out there.

Personally I would like to the ships from Tactical Roar on here.

I think my favorite Anime ship was that JMSDF Aegis DDG that traveled back in time. Somebody drew her if I recall?

that's one of my favorite anime ships too, partly because this was the first anime I ever watched.

and an new WIP of the CVN-56.... little has changed, the large white parts are parts were I need to watch the movie again, because my image is too dark to see anything in there. most of the dark grey parts need more detailing as well, especially the one midships. the hull and bridge are now finished, as are the ECM plates.... and I need to do some planes for it as well.
