There are still too many pixel errors, too much grey where there should be black lines and odd shading.
CRT monitors are pretty crap when it comes to showing the difference between black and very dark greys. I found it a problem but now I'm using a laptop things are much clearer.

A really good CRT is better than all but the best LCDs, but they don't make the really good CRTs any more, and they weighed 90+ lbs (call it 400+ Newton or 41+ kg). At this point a 24 bit color LCD (ie one with 16.7 million colors) would serve you well Kim.

I'd check the file size as it looks like your host resized them on you.

A good idea to see if there are pixel errors is to use the paintbucket in paint with for example yellow or red as color and see if all parts that are connected with the same paint get red or yellow and then you press ctrl z to restore so you can change any pixel that was wrong and then go on. I hope you understand what I mean

:D Yes, that's the way I try to eliminate pixel errors. I've discovered that changes still happens. Even if I go into the colour sceme and choose real black there occur grey pixel in the lines (and other pixel errors too) :? I guess my pc is to old and autonom and need to be replaced. That's on my personal wish list
