Erik_T's Turbo-Tigercat should really be in the what-if thread but it's an interesting concept.

Thanks, will try to get some more neglected boats up soon.
Do you guys also find that a lot of 3-views and plan views are quite badly out of true when compared to photos?

It's the rudder trimmer. The landplane model (Scylla) originally kept the vane, but was developed into the (these days) standard trim tab in the tail. I'll try and get the Scylla up this weekend.

I think the rudder trimmer is what is known as a 'Flettner tab', as developed by Anton Flettner.
