You are right, I could actually have been more specific about it .
For inner secton of the wing I meant the segment of the wingpsan between the fuselage and the engine pylons. For more clarity, I've done a small colombamike-style sheet.
I've highlighted the section of the wing with a clipped part of the 737 picture posted above. In a little snip above the drawing it's seen the correctly shaded wing compared to the paintscheme done by Ashebourton. I do apologize if I do appear too pedantic about it.

@Sheepster, I apologize as well for my never-ending nitpicking, but I'd fill the inside of the open hatch on the Britannia with a dark gray shade, non completely black. Impressive work anyway, you clearly started with a bang here!

Excellent additions, I love the Britannia too (one I never got around to doing). I do echo BB1987 on the open door, dark grey would be good or maybe even representing the cabin inside if your feeling double-brave!

Greyed the 250 interior, but I won't put the internal detail in.
I feel that as there is no sense of depth into the aircraft, adding the interior detracts from the sense of the exterior.

Could you pin point the discrepancy for me, I'm not entirely sure what you are trying to describe. Thanks ahead of time.

Just to know, would you be interested in doing the KC-10 Extender? I have a blank without all military equipment (like sensors, refueling probe etc...) done frome my DC-10s that I've put up for grab in the request section not long ago. Colo was interested but I suppose he might had not time to work on it.
It's just all about a small area in the wing that should remain gray instead of beign painted blue. However, I don't think I would be able to explain it more clearly and simpler than in this picture (also linked in my previous post) http://i.imgur.com/bqpGYc7.png

Maybe not the right thread, but why do have a starboard-side view convention?

Shipbucket has always been starboard-side since the misty days of the origins of 2pix per foot drawings like Unknown's work and McConrads about a decade ago.
Personally I think it looks nicer. As we read left to right so it seems easier to look left to right on bigger drawings (stern to bow, tail to nosecone).
In fact most ship line drawings in published sources and aircraft 3-views tend to be starboard side too, so that's an advantage when drawing too.

There is nothing against showing starboard and port views, some artists have even attempted 3-views or even 4-views (starboard, port, front, rear).
