Nice work Pegasus, though the dorsal 20mm looks a bit big.

Do 20mm guns usually get that long?

Good Morning.

Excellent additions DP and Pegassus. Nice Fireflies and Dornier!

This is the patrol version of the most built turboprop airliner, the mid 50s Fokker F-27. The Maritime version was based in the F-27-200 model.

The Spanish Air Force (EdA or Ejercito del Aire) three aircraft are based in Gando, Canary Islands. The Peruvian Navy (MGP or Marina de Guerra del Peru) aircraft (one of two adquired) was destroyed off Lima in 1987, with all the members of Alianza Lima's first team, a very popular soccer team. Royal Thai Navy operates several MPA versions from U-Tapao the main air base of the navy. The Phillippine Air Force adquired 3 aircraft for surveillance in 1980, the aircraft depicted here is still marked with the nederlands civil registration code prior to delivery. Cheers.

NB: The mark placed by veteran artists is high!, and I know that my version of the aircraft is rather spartan (I mean, nude :? ) of details. I will be very pleased with your comments towards to improving this drawins. Thanks.

@Darth Panda
Great paint schemes!

@Reytuerto
Indeed, I have some reservations about that F27. ;)

For a main reference I'm using this photograph, which btw. shows the very same aircraft You've portrayed in Spanish colors.
http://www.airliners.net/photo/Spain-Ai ... AzHg%3D%3D

Going from nose to tail:
1) nose seems to be slimmer;
2) cockpit windows - the middle one seems to be much more narrow, relative to other ones, I also have a feeling that they should be all 1, maybe 2 pixels higher;
3) the antenna below the front part of the fuselage seems to be further back, and attached higher, although that could have changed over time, so I'm not insisting;
4) wire antenna seems to be attached to a small mast;
5) the radar dome seems IMHO to be "beginning" lower on the fuselage; also it lacks shading;
6) both engine and underwing fuel tank on the blank lack shading along the upper edge; I also have some reservations about exact shape of the rear part of engine nacelle;
7) there should be a warning light on the wingtip (I'd also suggest applying a lighter shade along the upper edge);
8) trapezoidal shape of the fuel tank hardpoint should be IMHO more pronounced;
9) there's something missing here...
10) actual windows seem to be all ellipsoidal, while Yours seem "straight, with rounded top/bottom";
11) doors on this side looks smaller - such large doors are on the opposite side of the fuselage;
12) IMHO that black line suggest rather different fuselage shape than in reality - to me it implies the circular fuselage that abruptly turns into a vertical stabilizer, whereas in reality it's more "subtle"
http://www.airliners.net/photo/Spain-Ai ... AzHg%3D%3D
13) the tips of the horizontal stabilizer actually have a profile similar to the wing profile, so it's not exactly a precisely horizontal line;

Sorry for such shower of criticism, but actually You asked for it. ;)

Hi Eswube!
Lots of thanks for the bad cop! I need that kind of shower. And yes, in a photograph the nose looks much more sleekier than mines. Please, what means IMHO? Probably I will be retouching the drawings the following days. Once again, thanks.

Hi Pegassus.
Yes I have also a dutch Maritime in schedule! Cheers
