One of my favourite SB topics is back! Excellent work as usual. I found these ships endlessly fascinating as a youngster.

Personally always fascinated about how much weaponry Russians would pack on a hull. More than "Armed to the teeth".

These are so cool. So different than any sort of Western design and definitely very warlike. Props to Gollevainen for consistently producing such high quality work.

What I love with Russian ships, is that there is very little of unnecessary superstructure. They have a, if it work, it works... no need for making it beautiful.

Almost like fishing boats, looks like a box with a bow, but it works...

Hi. Nice series of soviet/russian cruisers, with the same high standart of ever.
The hull line of the russian vessels is neat, but also aesthetically fine (well, at least for me). But the superstructure and masts looks very congested (I can`t speak about the engeneering of it, just the appearence) with lots of aerials and antenaes close together... but with a beautiful hull ;) . Cheers.

Outstanding!
One minor nitpick: Varyag's name on her stern is misspelled.

thanks for the words, I fixed varyag's name.

I'll be returning to this thread one more time, but it understandably takes a bit time first...
