Wow, great job and massive work. Really outstanding. So, almost all German T-Boats are documented now, except the once before 1906. I can understand that you need a break, but I also hope you will soon get intrigued to do also the rest of the job. The older T-Boats from S90 to G137 are also very interesting, or the Taku prize.

Excellent additions and a very fine way to end this thread (so far).

Hello again!

Sorry for a bit of thread necromancy... I really did not know where else to put these, and frankly did not want to start a new threat for them

Niki-Class destroyers

In 1905, the Greek government ordered eight destroyers in the 300-ton range, four in Germany and four in Great Britain. The German boats were named Aspis, Doxa, Niki and Velos, with Niki being launched first and becoming the class ship. They carried two 76mm and four 57mm guns and two 450mm torpedo tubes and were good for 30 knots with VTE engines.

Doxa was lost in the first world war and Velos was scrapped in the mid-twenties. At that time the other two were modernized with German 88mm guns replacing the 76mm pieces; the 57mm guns were landed, one 40mm PomPom was installed and the superstructure was enlarged. Although it is claimed the 88mm guns were taken from the German-built Keravnos class which was scrapped at that time, it is a fact that four older destroyers were rearmed with that caliber at that time, and the Keravnos-boats could only supply enough guns for two, so additional 88mm guns would have to be imported from Germany.

Greetings
GD

Well, I second my own opinion on the British destroyer thread; these are just as good on all levels!
