It look actually pretty cool!!!
Do someone have some details on how it was supposed to be?
There is not that much floating around, but the 777-100 was essentially a 777SP: shortened airframe to gain maximum possible range. The 777-100X was a planned 9.5 frame (6.4m) shrink of the 777-200. A 12-frame reduction (149 in / 3.8m forward of the wing and 104 in / 2.6m aft of Section 44) with a length of 57.3m (188'1") and a tail fin height of 18.6m (60'11"). It would hold 259 passengers in three classes. Wing, tailplane and tail would have the same dimensions as on the 777-200. MTOW was around 298t and OEW was between 124-131t. Three ranges were proposed: 12,200km / 13,320km / 14,800km.
Basically, it was concieved for the same niche market that was later split between the Airbus A340-500 and the Boeing 777-200LR, the developement of the latter was the definitive tombstone on the 777-100.
