Shipbucket

There are detailed line drawings to scale from the Ships' Covers in March's book on British destroyers. The original scale plans vary: 1/16, 1/8,1/4in = 1ft. Sadly for Shipbucket purposes the profiles are all (I think) centreline internal, so no help with hull shading, though there are hull cross sections at intervals. Some have more than one deck plan, so some indication there. The plans are also mostly about A3 size foldouts from a large, heavy book, so scans on an A4 screen very tricky - needs A to press the buttons, while B takes the weight!
Friedman's book "British Destroyers from Earliest Days" has good profiles and sometimes deck drawings about 6in long by AD Baker, but though the underwater hull is shown with a curved line to indicate curvature, it's a bit 'conventional' and doesn't really show the profile.

Though not employed by the RN, the next are at least British-built: The Greek Wild Beast Class, originally built for Argentina, but hastily purchased by Greece for the Balkan Wars and named Aetos (Eagle), Ierax (Hawk), Leon (guess) and Panthir (guess again). Photographic reference indicates both the colous schemes below were in use at some point, but I could not find out when exactly and by which ship in the class.





They have already been drawn, and quite well (by Rey Ayanami, I think, who has meanwhile vanished from the Bucket), but the pics seem to have been swallowed by Majhost or some other monstrous entity.

Incredibly good work, as usual.
Unfortunately we can't compare with the previous work, for reasons stated above.
Any way, and not to detract from either work, these drawings are magnificent.

Indeed, beautiful drawings. I like to see every new early destroyer. There were so many from them and every new drawing is an addition to the huge puzzle.
