So, just to get things started, I'm not new to these forums or Shipbucket in general, but this account is a new thing to me. As I was looking around to find a good topic to do a first post on, I couldn't find anything so I just decided on this (which is an idea I totally didn't take from another forum I used to be on) and it seemed like the best thing. Without any further ado, let me introduce myself.

My name HyperHiggsHelix. You can call me, Hyper, Higgs, Helix, HHH, poblano, Ukraine, Der Kaiser, Blue, Boaty McBoatface, I don't care. I have been working with military history for a REALLY long time. The first military drawing I made was probably in first grade, when I drew a strange tank thing. As for history, I'm a mad man. There are two ways to get me started: 1. Anything that has to do with war, as long as the ancient stuff isn't too eastern, and 2. Past the Industrial Revolution. Science topics and politics are just a go-to topic when I have nothing to talk about (the latter being a new thing). I would list favorites, but I'll save that for a different thread.

As a bonus, try to guess the hex of this color.

As for you, I ask you to introduce yourself to new and old members alike.

EDIT: Also, I can't draw. I can use paper, just not a computer. That stuff is too tedious and I'm a very impatient person.

Is there a point to this thread?

Welcome aboard
Sorry to hear that you don't draw, but you can learn, as it's not that hard (I did it, and so can anybody else, especially if you used to draw on paper).
Oh, nearly forgot but your Hex code is 1453AD (RGB 20, 83, 173).

It's to explain in great detail who you are. C'mon, don't be shy.

I'm starting to get into working with MS Paint, so it's getting easier. But it's also kind hard when you still need to buy more RAM for your new computer internals so your computer doesn't crash at random.

There are two reasons (technically 1) why I love that color.

Welcome aboard, and I'm sure you can learn how to draw using MS Paint or other software. Patience has little to do with it.
As for presentations and such, feel free to talk more about yourself, I guess, but as you may have noticed, that doesn't seem to be style of the house here. To know more about current members, I advise scouring the off-topic threads. Mostly the community is straight-to-business, so the best way to start a conversation is to post a drawing in the beginner's section.

As Citizen Lambda say, we are working in a different way in this forum compared to other forums.

But I can give a simple presentation of me:
- I am crazy
- mad
- weird
- love to argument on stupid things
- Always doing something stupid
- lazy
- I swear a lot... but just to be nice with Gollevainen (admin), I censor myself. (If I didnt, members would get "cancer" from it)
- And the worst thing of it all, I am a Norwegian. So of course I am full of shit and think that I am a God, king, master, etc.!

So things are different her peasants

Okies, I'll play.

Name's John, I live in Geelong in Australia and have been profiling for about 10 years or so. Not a Shipbucket scale kinda thing, but more than interested in the various threads that occur on here. Also worth mentioning I'm all 'what if'.
