I plan to do this as follows:
- Sort the files I have by type -
- Fixed wing
vs. - Rotary
vs. - Other (Tilt Rotor, Tilt wing, and UAVs)
- Further sort by Generation
- Modern (1955+)
Then - Pre 1955
Then - Never Built
Any assistance in this project would be appreciated, and I may find myself asking for some as it goes on.
Hmmm, I have few PERSONNAL opinion about this:
- Separate
MILITARY and
CIVIL aircraft
- Separate
BIPLANES/TRIPLANES (1910-1930's) and
MONOPLANES (1930's-1950's) propeller-military aircrafts
Jets
GENERATIONS
- FIRST generation: subsonic and unswept wings, guns main armament (1939-1946)
- SECOND generation: subsonic + and, few unswept-wings, more others with swept-wings, guns main armament, few with rocket and prototype missiles (1947-1953)
- THIRD generation: first supersonic/bisonics, swept-wing, guns + rocket + missiles (1954-1960's)
