The Nina class destroyers were a large batch of ships designed in 1917 and finished in 1919. These vessels had more emphasis on speed. What they lacked in armor and artillery, they made up for in torpedo firepower.
By 1930 however, these ships were already outperformed by Antara's newer designs and were mostly used as coast guard ships or merchant raiders.
