It also says something for an export Pr.11541 variant, is there any info for that?
That's the "Korsar" I jokingly mentioned earlier, even though second-of-class Yaroslav Mudriy is sometimes also referred to as Pr.1154.1.
Though I would wait on Golly's take on the subject, he export versions are probably not well-documented enough to be covered seriously. I can't remember seeing two pictures of the same Korsar design, or any going beyond flyers and models at military salons.

Awesome drawing Gollevainen, I'm starting to like the Russian way of designing ships.

I've got two questions, on the pennant number wouldn't there be black shading to make it look 3D? Could you post this rendition on page one below the early dated drawing, then we could see the series progress?

All the best

Russian vessel doesn't have black outline. And if you look at pictures of the vessel, it doesn't have it at all.

That isn't the vessel depicted on Golly's drawing, that ship in your photo has pennant number 712, while the ship I am referring to in the photo I provided and depicted in Golly's drawing is 727.

Can you see the shading around the numbering in the photo I provided?, it might be an earlier date though.

As I understand it, Russian hull numbers are not a reliable indicator of specific hulls, being repainted and renumbered somewhat regularly.

Right, I'll leave it for Golly to have a look in any case. Thanks erik_t.

Here you have 727, If golly have drawn the drawing like that, then it mean the ship is actually like that. He draw after drawings, blueprints and photos.

The only reason for the confusion, is because the Russian Navy doesn't go after what looks good, they are more: "if it works, it's okay" and: "no point wasting money on, makeup!"
