Excellent work!
Tomorrow will mark the 72nd anniversary of outbreak of the
Warsaw Uprising of 1944, and since some of the commemorative ceremonies are already taking place during this weekend, I decided to post this humble work already one day ahead.
Samochód pancerny Kubuś is an improvised armored car (or more precisely: armored personnel carrier) built in August 1944 on the chassis of the 3t Chevrolet 157 truck and used until early September when it was damaged and due to overall situation couldn't be repaired. Car actually managed to survive the war and is now exhibited at
Muzeum Wojska Polskiego, and working replica is at
Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego.
