Hi,
with Krakatoas' kind permission I am posting my drawings of two S38 / S38b Schnellboote in this thread:
S-86 - call sign "Karo-Ass" (ace of diamonds) - was part of 2. Schnellbootflottille operating in the English Channel from Ijmuiden in early 1943.
It was a late S-38 class boat built by Lürssen (Vegesack) in 1942 and was still featuring an unarmored bridge.
After the war, it was taken over by the Soviet Navy as "TK-1009", where it served in the 4th (South Baltic) Fleet.
"TK-1009" was stricken in September 1950 and transfered for scrapping.
The boat and its' commander, Oblt.z.S. Hans-Joachim Wrampe, were featured in the propaganda movie
"Asse zur See- Ein Filmbericht von unseren Schnellbooten (1943)".

S-69 - call sign "WK" (after the initials of its' commander Oblt.z.S. Walter Knapp)- was part of 8. Schnellbootflottille, that was also operating in the English Channel in 1943.
Built by Lürssen (Vegesack) in late 1941, it was already equipped with an armored bridge and a shielded 40mm Bofors.
It was taken over by the British in 1945 and was scrapped in 1947.
Cheers!
