yes! Rheintoechter SAM.

Actually I am trying to add some silos for V2...
If I were you (and I kind of am... I may have been working on a US response recently ;) ), I would go with a railroad-based system. Large armored blockhouse amidships, with railways going straight out on the beams. Missiles are rolled out tail-first, then erected over the side. This minimizes blast interference problems (both V-2 blast and gun blast) and allows the missiles to launch from near the center of the ship, minimizing ship motion effects on the missiles.

I'd probably have some extra Rheintochters roll out in the same location. The aft launcher will probably be unworkable in severe weather.

Hey Erik, how you get into my PC?!? Or are you able to read in my mind?!?

I am working on a concept similar to what you proposed taking into account the blasts...
Probably tomorrow I'll show something.

Well, there's always the Japanese. While not quite as insane, the American Tillman designs does point in that direction.
There's also the British. HMS Jacky Fisher anyone?

just to change the reality...

HMS Manchester was torpedoed by two Italian MAS torpedo boats off Tunisia on 1942, August 13 and she was subsequently scuttled by explosive charges ... because its RADAR equipment.

Let's say that, instead the real facts, happened that HMS Manchester Commander tryed to scuttle the ship without success because Italian units pushed to low waters giving the opportunity to Italian engineers to get and study the electronic equipments...

It's simply the logical approach to the problem.
