And yes, I know some of these are a tad cramped currently, so a few will be getting slightly larger redraws. And a few I'll leave to show, since some real-life fighting vehicles weren't the most....comfortable.

A bit of a change of pace from my WWI figurines. I've recently been working myself into a fury over the US Army uniforms. They're gaudy and yet, somehow, at the same time shlubby. Why does every other army in the world suffice with small, tasteful rank markers, yet the US Army needs HUGE gold chevrons, two on each arm, to indicate an NCO? Soldiers have attested to the fact that, not only do they feel unprofessional compared to other armies, but they feel like they are going to work in a tuxedo. So, I've redesigned the service uniform (ASU) on American WWI and WWII models, and based the new dress uniform on the current one, but with some notable changes like a standing collar and, again, fewer rank markers. In both uniforms, rank is indicated on the lapels (service uniform), the collar (dress uniform), and the shoulder tabs (service and dress uniforms). There are no rank markers on the sleeves.

Cool stuff. I've always liked the way the British style dress uniforms looked. Very functional yet still classy and suitable to wear to any kind of formal event.

Peruvian Army 1941.
The first 3 figurines show the french flavor in peruvian uniforms: instructor officer and cadet in parade uniform from the Military School and Presidential Life Guard Dragoon. The next 5 are officers in diverse field, everyday and parade uniforms, and the last 2 are soldiers in campaign/parade uniform.
Credits: Thanks to.
Colosseum: Breeches, boots and pith helmet.
Andrzej: Bren LMG (converted to ZB 30), french curassier, Adrian helmet and epaulettes.
Glorfindel: Kar 98 rifle, french kepi, US Marine green uniform collar.
tsd: french officer WW1, french tenue reseda and putees.

reytuerto: Very interesting to see uniforms of a not so well known army.

tsd715: Also nice drawings. I will try to draw my own proposal for US Army dress and ceremonial uniforms.

Uniforms of a fictional german state:
[ img ]
Dress Uniform, Parade Uniform, Guard Duty Uniform, Officer Ceremonial Uniform, Barrack Uniform, Guard Duty Uniform (Camouflage), Working- and Combat Uniform
The camouflage pattern is inspired by the new german "Multifleck" camouflage. The light-coloured camouflage was a trial I made first, which was inspired by the austrian special forces camouflage pattern.
