btw, anybody else who thinks that engine looks awfully small compared to the rest of the ship, while it still is an huge engine o.O

I read somewhere the engine is an enlarged one of the E class ships from maersk. And that they will be more fuel efficianty.
Anybody has pictures of that or text?

Nope. They'll have two smaller engines.
I wouldn't want to be an engineer on one of these. On the ships I've worked on, during the night you have four minutes to respond to an alarm before the bridge alarm goes off. There's a loooong way from the crew accommodations to the engine room.

My question is why couldn't the better integrate the stack with the superstructure, increasing deck space available for cargo. I know the superstructure has to be somewhat forward for navigation purposes, but...with a ship like this, forget radar-less navigation period. And if weight/balance is an issue, that's what cargo planning is for.

Actually, you can't. There's several laws that require you to be able to do radar less navigation.
Besides, if you look closely, you'll realize that the stack and superstructure doesn't take up more space in total than a traditional combined setup does.

Yeas, I got contact Maersk a few weeks ago for a side drawing, they said to look for me, but I haven't got an respone yet, but I quite want to draw her!!!!
