What sort of aircraft does the rest of your AU use? That would help for starters.
have not built up in that area yet. But when I call my AU for the Northern kingdom. there will probably be fighters that we use today and will have in the future.

so similar to the US role..... what year?
some of the time she was built (80's-90's). And what kind of plane she will have today (2011-2020). I have thought that after approx. 35 years service, one should probably get a new aircraft carrier.

How about a navalized Viggen? Low-speed and landing performance is roughly equivalent to the Grippen.

not so many types!! we gave options, not that you should put them all on it!
it is possible, but logistics are going hell!
the russians have only 3 types at the same time, the US 5 or 6.... that's including transport, helicopters etc....
also, many of your aircraft have overlapping missions.

I would suggest:
one light helicopter (for example lynx)
one heavy helicopter (for example merlin)
one multirole aircraft (or, if you really want, an fighter type + an bomber type or an fighter type + an multirole type)
one transport aircraft (of which versions can do the AWACS role)

that's it!
