Hello, I call for anyone who had drawn RFA Argus or are planning to do it. I can't find her in the archive.
If no one respond at this call, I'll think it's the time for me to draw this former italian commercial container ship "Contender Bezant" who was requisitioned for service during the Falklands Conflict in 1982. She was subsequently purchased and converted for her new role as an aviation support ship. After extensive trials she entered service and replaced the smaller RFA ENGADINE. During the 1990 Gulf War she took on a further role when she was fitted out as a PCRS with a 100-bed emergency medical facility. During 2000/2001 she underwent a major refit of her permanent hospital facilities which were then based over 3 decks. Right now she have course toward the shores of Libya.

Rifleman has handed the right to draw RFA Argus over to me. To a start I show Riflemans draft, which I will (over time) complete

Here is my beginning on Argus. I've got two opportunities: Draw her as she looks before 2009, or after she was refitted 2010 in her new configuration (Primary role as PCRS [Primary Casualty Reception Ship], secondary role as helicopter training ship). I've started with the keel. The refitment had amongst other changed the bulk head.
[Edit] I've changed a lot on the stern and (sadly) removed the shading on the bow
The change is moved to the next page!
