The Permanentnaya revolyutsiya and V.I Lenin designs is similiar to the South Dakota and Iowa superstructure.

Yes ofcourse ...nah I ment to but a dissclaimer that my non-existing russian skills and bad internet translators may cause some bit silly names for the ships. I'm always keen to get feedback on what is wrong tough. Its the only way to learn.

"Kostromitinov" is designer's family name, not a ship avaliable name.
"Sinyy" is a bad name for a destroyer - because it means not only "dark blue", but also "hardly drunk"
"Soikii" - probably "Stoikiy"? There is no word "Soikii".
"Blagorodnyy" means not only "gently", but also "noble". Not-revolutionary name.
"Bryacheslav" is a name of a medieval prince. In Soviet navy it's impossible.
"Buzhnyy" - is a non-existent word
"Voyskovoy" - a not-revolutionary name, because it's a reference to cossacks.
"Novik" - a not-revolutionary name
"Orel" a not-revolutionary name (tsarist coat of arms)

Shakhter and Gornyak are synonymes.
Perevozchik, Remeslennik, Plotnik, Batrak - are disreputable names for military ships.
Chelovek - means "man" and it can't be used as ship name.
Not Irkuts, but Irkutsk.
Chanshuks - I don't know this town
Gomel and Rybinsk - too small towns to name a cruiser. Maximum - a patrol ship or a destroyer.

Oktabrya - illiterate. Oktyabr, better - Krasny Oktyabr (Red October).

Thanks, those 'Sovetskaya' names were exspecilly tricky ones, I knew that the word bends differently but the translators didn't seem to think so.
As for Kostromitinov, yeah I know its the name of the guy who suggested that monsterous design. As there is no other name or even real project number assigned to it, I had to took some liberties. So in this AU the name Kostromitinov comes from a different source.

Of those adjective names, those might by typos or really bad transliterations. But those are basicly picked from OTL soviet and russian destroyers and torbedoboats. Anyways I'll check them out and try to figure what were actually intended.

Of the "post-revolutionary" names, most of them are of those used by the OTL Soviet fleet so they already had been used in such matters.

Alright I've updated some of the drawings for grammatical corrections. Some where just typos, some mistakes were probably my own bad attempts to transliterate the original names (98% of all names are those being used by Russia and Soviet Union in OTL). Many thanks to Andre Muller for pointing those out. I'll try to be recheck all the names for any future posts in this thread. Of those names which I didn't correct despite being questioned, I still feel that they are justified in according to the principles in which this AU scenario works.

Anyways I'll be posting the WWII history & naval development soonish alongside with ships build in 1941-45 period before taking longer hiatus for drafting out the post-1945 fleet. Be advised to those that bothers actually read my ramblings in the history settings, I'll be doing some major changes to the events of the real life Pacific War so I apologize already to those that will be offended by it.

I have a quick question, if that's OK - the props on the Pr.25 and Pr.64 seem to have a strange elevator-type thing ... do you have any details on that? Curious to see what it's about?
