You know, you could make it work, sort of ... fit a waterjet drawing intake in through the rangefinder armoured boxes, exhausting through the barrel, so once it turns turtle you've got propulsion, seal up the hull openings, you've got a sort-of working semi-submersible. The turret turning will let you steer, I think, but probably a bit chaotic at speed, which, fortunately, it'd never reach...
