The Badal MG-37 enterd service late 1937 and became the standart machine cun in infantery units and on vehicles



Theso Industry developt a machine pistol early 30 and in 1937 the first weapons enterd the army. It became the standard weapon for most of the officers in the army as well for all drivers and armoured crews

Barrel:
4150 MIL-B-11595 chrome moly vanadium alloy (machine gun rated), fluted, cold-hammer forged and nitride heat treated. Lengths of 292 mm, 368 mm, 420 mm and 508 mm available. With 5R polygonal rifling and fluted chamber.
Muzzle device:
Nazareno 3-prong flash hider, acts as mount for various Nazareno suppressors.
Cartridges:
5.56 x 45 mm NATO, 6.8 SPC, 300 AAC Blackout
Operating mechanism:
Short-stroke piston, rotating bolt. Bolt carrier coated in electroless nickel-PTFE for permanent lubricity. Bolt made out of SAE 9310 steel, bolt carrier and piston out of 8620 steel.
Rate of fire:
700-800 rounds per minute (cyclic)
Upper receiver:
Nazareno upper receiver machined out of billet 7075-T6 aluminum alloy with left side FAL-style charging handle and traditional AR ambidextrous charging handle, compatible with MIL-SPEC lower receivers.
Handguard:
Nazareno free-floating handguard machined out of billet 7075-T6 aluminum alloy attached to barrel nut. Picatinny rail at 12:00 position, KeyMod slots at 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 6:00, 8:00, 9:00 and 10:00 positions.
Lower receiver:
Nazareno lower receiver machined out of billet 7075-T6 aluminum alloy with ambidextrous safety selector, magazine release and bolt release, compatible with MIL-SPEC upper receivers.
Magazine:
FAB Defense 30-round Ultimag 30R polymer magazine (5.56 NATO and 300 BLK), E-Lander 25-round steel magazine (6.8 SPC).
Sights
FAB Defense RBS & FBS rear & front rail-mounted iron sights.

Neat! The dust-covers could do with some detailing though. Also, why no forward assist?

The dust cover is similar to this one except it has no artwork and is made out of polymer. The lack of forward assist is due to the use of a left-side FAL-style charging handle (in addition to a traditional top charging handle) that has a forward assist feature.

Why not just use the existing FAB one though? Seeing as you like FAB's stuff.



Regarding the charging handle, essentially you've got the LWRC type setup then, neat. That said, that does render a traditional handle superfluous even if it's better for ambidextrous use. One or t'other not both IMO.

Many of the parts are custom made for this design and are fictional, such as the dust cover. I have drawn a 7.62 NATO variant of this rifle which has a similar dust cover (of course enlarged for the 7.62 NATO round). As for the receiver, it is similar to this receiver but has a rounded FAL-style grip instead of a flat grip:

That truly is a peculiar upper.
