Hello all

I am an Spanish amateur naval writer. I am writing a book about post-Washington battleships. The book is written in spanish. I do not know if the book will be published, but I want try it.

I need drawings of all post-Washington battleships. Long time ago, I made some similar drawings. You can view them:

Click in the drawings, for high resolution imaging
http://es.kbismarck.com/perfiles.html
http://es.kbismarck.com/buqueepoe.html
http://es.kbismarck.com/buquepare.html

You can use this drawings freely. I know that my "scale" is different but perhaps, the drawings can be useful. I have a few other, a some libraries. If someone is interested, tell me.

Now I have a job that leaves me, no many time. I can write, but draw the drawings, take too long.

I would ask the cooperation of the forum for the drawings. Obviously, each owner of the drawing, will be identified, and nothing published without permission.

I need profile and plan of this classes:

Nelson
Dunkerque
Littorio
Scharnhorst
Richelieu
King George V
Bismarck
North Carolina
South Dakota
Yamato
Iowa
Vanguard

"Pocket Battleships" and Alaska are also important.

For Pre-Washington projects (N3,Lexington Tosa etc) and "not made" battleships ("H" Class, Montana etc), can be interesting but in simplified drawing.

I think that I can send the draft to publishers in six months. And I need at least another six months to get copyright photographs , corrections etc, if the draft is accepted.

The book is no innovative in English, but in Spanish is a topic neglected. Obviously I have not primary sources, but I have about two hundred naval books, and about fifty about battleships, as Garke & Dulin, some Friedman , Jordan etc.

I can provide advice for the drawings of battleshisp and other vessels.

Thanks in advance and sorry by my bad english.

Thank you. These drawings are the product of a hard period of unemployment twenty years ago. There are some others unpublished drawings.

Now fortunately I have a hard work and a beatiful family

I am considering retake them if I do not get the complete set. Although, I need at least a year to complete the set.

So far I have found in the forum
Bismarck (plan and elevation)
Richelieu (plan and elevation)
Yamato (elevation)
Dunkerque (plan and elevation)
Iowa (elevation)
North Carolina (elevation)
South Dakota (elevation)
Alaska (elevation)

I need elevation and plan of all classes (and individual ships), because I want an uniform set. If I can not get it. I will go back to my drawings.

I could make a few drawings (such as Littorio class) in Shipbucket rules. But I feel more comfortable on my scale.
