The Natsushima-class minelayer was a class of minelayers of the Imperial Japanese Navy serving during and after the 1930s through World War II.

Natsushima as built:

Nasami as of 1938 is a possible candidate for a follow-up drawing, so this thread might see another entry in the future.

Thanks to Emperor_Andreas, which provided me the necessary pictures, here is Nasami as of 1938:

She was modified before completion to address stabiliy issues after the infamous Tomozoru incident. It is mentioned that Natsushima was modified in a similar way, but in this case there is no phothographic evidence to be exploited for a drawing.

Sarushima, the third unit of the class, was a variant with diesel engines. I've found just a single picture of her, not detailed enough for my tastes, so I'll hold her for now.

An excellent addition. These small little craft, are little known, and are rarely seen mention in any publication, apart from those which are for the die-hard followers of a certain navy.
