I have revised the drawing according to Smurf's comments:
- superstructure moved aft
- more sheer to the bow
- main turrets lengthened to cover the entire barbette
- AA on top of and alongside the hangar moved
- Pompom director moved to clear arcs for the guns
- HA director moved
- hull cutout for boat alongside hangar added
- boat arrangement between bridge and funnel changed
Variants (1944, 1950, 1957, 1964 and 1970) will appear in the Thiaria: Other People's ships thread

Apart from saying that this is a very handsome ship, and damnit why couldn't the Brits have build them!, I have to make one question: Normal stern, or transom?
If it's a transom stern, something the RN really went for in their late 30's and further designs, then the cutoff underwater could stand to be a bit sharper.
