Yes you're probably right but I got a bit lazy there and couldn't be bothered trying to find a more ground attack related radar. If anyone has any suggestions I'll gladly listen.

I had the same thought but there's a surprising amount of room there (more than there appears anyway). I did a quick/rough calculation and there is slightly more room (>1.2m) than the length of the gear required (around 1m). Whether this is enough in the real world I don't know but I figure it's close enough.
_ The wing inner hardpoint (the strongest and the one with more load carrying capacity) is behind propeller disc area, preventing use of forward firing weapons like some missiles, rockets or gun pods (and also the outer one seems “too outboard” to carry something heavier than a short range AAM)

The way I figure it, the inner wing hardpoints would mostly be used for fuel tanks and the outer would be for short ranger AAMs as you say - I've worked on the outer pylons being capable for 500lb and the inner two wing pylons for 1000lb each. There are three fuselage hardpoints to compensate for lack of room on the wings for forward firing weapons, where the centreline one is used for larger weapons and the two side ones can be used for lighter forward firing weapons (though I doubt that there is space to use all three at once).
