Here's another Canadian airplane that was lost in history.
The Canadian Car & Foundry FDB-1, AKA Gregor FDB-1 (FDB stands for Fighter Dive Bomber) was a Canadian biplane multi-role fighter designed in 1938 by the Russo-Canadian designer Michael Gregor. Despite being a very modern and innovative design, inspired by contemporary biplane fighter-bombers like the Italian FIAT Cr.32/42, the British Gloster Gladiator, the German Heinkel He.51 or the Russian Polikarpov I-15, this airplane was overtaken by the events and no buyer was found. The only prototype was destroyed in a fire in 1945.
