Finally I got time and opportunity to make a clean copy of the single mount Vickers 9.2in Mk X ordnance, as shipped by the Duke of Edinburghs and their half-sisters of the Warrior-class:

The shading is more realistic now.

'while the shading is within bounds now, 6 (as far as I can see) shades seems a bit much for an relatively simple part? the barbette actually breaks shipbucket standard of shading, and I think the turret is borderline on that too.....

Thanks for the part.
Shading is a perpetual issue. When shading parts I tend to think about two things; a) how easy is it for someone to turn it 180 degrees had reverse the shading and b) how easy is it for someone to totally recolor it (different colours or camo scheme).

Does anyone happen to have a drawing of the Racal Cutlass B-1 ESM antenna?

Hmmm, I'll have to have a root around, I may be able to draw one if I've got the sources.

I'm sure someone had drawn it at some point, perhaps not?

I intend to rexdo the MK II and MK III 14" turrets for the KGV class, because I've realized that the current parts have the correct outline but pants shading.

after you wrote that, I had to have an look. And I can already see that I forgot a dark grey line aft on the turret, and that I have been a bit soft on the shading... and that is before I have a look at reference materials.

What I could find on my computer.
