Nice drawing thatone and the others as well. As for the concept of the ship, I think OPV/Coast guard ships carrying helicopters are bit extreme as it propably isen't that cost-effective to conduct the partol they do with helicopters. Also as for SAR duties, its rahter unusual that you would end up in situations where the one ship have to task with rescue missions requiring more than a one helicopter.

Thanks for comments fellows. I agree it might not be the most cost-effective solution, but: I think you're looking too close to ship itself. I mean, there is an AW-609 involved which has range of 2000 km with speed of 500 km/h. Roughly it could mean a 500 km circle (ok, not a circle but distance, at least) of patrolling area from the ship + censors of AW-609... Am I right?
I also agree it would be rare to end up situations of extensive rescue missions but if you'll do, wouldn't you want ship that could send several helicopters, fuel them at sea, change crews and take in all survivors easily? I also have to explain that this not going to be situated in the Baltics but in Barents Sea. Perhaps this map tells you more... Also this kind of ship could be useful in wartime in ASW or minelaying missions or other as JSB noted.

Something smaller. A Saab attack plane which is also known somewhere as project P1642-06 B3LM. In here it's Saab 115 C Eldklotten. Of original 72 planes in 1985 24 were upgraded in 2015-2017 as C-model with total of 340 million SKr (Scandinavian krone = 1,5 us$). Total of 9 hardpoints with 5200kg of ordnance;including Brimstone and modified Sidearm-missiles. 2 Mauser 27mm internal gun (missing in two seat D-model). Nasty little ba....rd; I'd say.

Thats a very interesting aircraft, its like an A-10 but much smaller so i suppose it's easier to build and maintain and can be fielded in much larger numbers. A carrier based variant would be interesting.

Starting from F-X program of USAF and after winning it, Saab developed an UCAV beside of Advanced Fighter Trainer. AFT includes 7 hardpoints; total 3500kg of ordnance. Thrust vectoring in both. UCAV includes 10 hardpoints (4+2 internal; 4 in wings).
