This is the first in a series of WWII era hydrofoil concepts developed by the Kriegsmarine under the auspises of the K-Amt

Yes, that round thing on the side is a jet engine.
Anyway, Armament consists of five 89mm rocket projectors, two 45cm torpedoes in stern launchers (The exact type escapes me at the moment), one quad 2cm AA gun and one 13mm MG.

I'm not happy witht he colouring of the lower hull, but since it would spend a lot of time with the lower hull visible, I couldn't decide whether it should be red or grey. In the end I settled on a compromise of the two. Input is welcome.

Excellent drawing. I cann't remark as to its acuracy, but still a remarkable job.
Also I'd think that FD scale is more suitable for such a small vessel.

What can I say, I'm a purist.

The 5b's jet-less and somewhat less wacky brother the Typboot 5.
I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to finish it. It took less than two minutes to convert it.
As with the 5b the red paint is mostly guesswork.
