Here is the Bretagne-Class battleship Lorraine as she appeared after an extensive AA-Battery refit: ;)

Note the addition of 22 Oerlikon 20mms, and 14 Bofors 40mm as well as the 8 75mm AA-guns mid-ships. She is not quite Richelieu or Jean Bart, but she is rather impressive for a ship commission 10 March 1916. :D

Very nice work! Can't wait to see what comes next out of our resident French Navy master artist's yard!

Thanks for the kind remarks. Now I have to fix a few things I've learned about the Courbet and Bretagne classes on a few of the earlier entries, then it's on to the Never Were Normandie-Class. :D

That is a very impressive AA refit. Some old USN BB did not have much
more AA than that when serving in the Pacific. Thanks for showing us
these ships.

I have just reposted the drawings in this thread after doing some final tweeking as suggested by ColombaMike including but not limited to the paint scheme on Lorraine 1944.

Next thread will be the Normandie-Class. :D
