Ace, I appreciate your quick response! Might take a day or two...but I'll do a thorough re-check! Btw, as for the directors on the Braunschweig, I have chiefly had to rely on pictorial evidence, so, of course, any drawn images I can check, will be helpful!

... and before anyone mentions it...I am aware that I posted these without first taking care of the proper shading of the gunhouses! Will correct that though!

Just one minor thing:
Are you certain, that the ship was called "Heßen"? I am pretty sure it was named after the German state "Hessen" (engl. Hesse / Hessia), which is spelled with two "s".

Hmmm...Maomatic...you may be right. The ship is, of course named after the Bundesland Hessen. However, my old German teacher in high school (eons ago!) tought us that the use of that symbol, even in names, such as 'Hessen' was perfectly within rules. Now, I know there's been grammar reforms since then, so, maybe what was ok then is no longer accepted?
