I made a post yesterday or something about the SPY-3, with the most important intel you would need IMO... I will repost, NOW PAY ATTENTION :D
'2 points though: the SPY-3 covers 120 degrees, instead of the 90 degrees you put them now.
also, the SPY-3 needs no illuminators.'
for an SPY-3 mast: look at the USS zumwalt and the USS henry ford
for spy-5: ask timothyc or erik_t, they will most likely know.....

btw, I like your new D-type, except for the stern, and you might need an more powerfull radar now ;) maybe an THALES SMART-S is an option?
otherwise I think you would best use an SPY-5 on that one, but as I said, I don't know much more of it then you do...

no illuminators needed for spy 3
(for the third time)
but, the radar tower has the correct shape now, I would put an SPY-3 on the left-front, right-front and the back. the other sides could be used for spare radars, navigation radars and or satcoms..... that would make this an quite good looking ship IMO.

I have given the Corvette opportunity to have several different modules on the aft deck. Corvette's mission is to support the larger surface vessels, but can also be used to slow the advance of enemy ships until the main fleet arrives at the site.

updatet!

why not some heli support on that corvette? I mean... you don't need extra VLS or torpedo tubes on this ship, and the depth charges and the sonar module could be placed under the deck as well. same counts for an dock for an (smaller then this one) boat.....
I would say: highten up your aft deck a bit, place room for these modules over there. you could change the structure a bit to add an hangar, but that might not be needed.

btw, if you use smart-s, you might want to place one or 2 STIR's on your structure to guide the ESSM's, or you could add some small phased array plates on your mast to do that same role.

and IMO, with this arnament, I think this might even be an light frigate instead of an corvette :D

radar is excellent, you will need an STIR or another director for the ESSM.
btw, why ESSM and sea sparrow? the essm is the followup of the sea sparrow.
I am not to fond about the CIWS fit though... and the stanflex VLS midships is no good idea.

also, I have made a more modern version of the LCVP MK5/LCVP(NL) MK4, and I think you should shorten the ship a bit, unless you want to be operate STOVL aircraft from it as well... and I cannot see the point of that little control tower astern, same counts for the cranes (would put one of them near the bridge, over there they are really in the way)

other then that: nice design IMO ;)

It looks like it would do fine in an LHD capacity.

Not sure why you have the old Mk-29 GMLS on the fantail. It's an 8 round launcher, or the equivalent of just two Mk-41 SD cells.
