By the by, Although the British ship HMS Dreadnought was commissioned in 1906, the French had to wait until September 1910 to lay down the Courbet because, the ship building ways had to be cleared of the Danton-Class, which was not launched until 1909-1910. The Dantons were already obsolete out of the slipways.
