Thanks for the comment signal, after comparing the VA-1000 with other similar aircraft i have found that the Series 10 has more ground clearance than the Vickers VC10 and equal to the IL-62 so i think it is appropriate, as for the streched Series 20 it has a slightly taller main landing gear to compensate for the longer fuselage.

Thanks for the comment ezgo. :). This is the freighter version of the VA-1000-20.

VeneAvia - VA-1000-20F
Hi, If it´s a purpose built freighter, I would remove some unnessary doors. IMO, just keeping the front door and one overwing exit per side it´s enough...

Hi progress i have done what you said and here it is:

Im also thinking of using the other drawing as the basis for a convertible freighter version.

VeneAvia - VA-1000-10 Avensa

Avensa was created on May 13, 1933 as a cargo airline by Venezuelan businessman, Andres Boulton Pietri, and Pan American World Airways. Their first flights occurred in December 1933, flying cargo to Venezuela's oil-rich Carteru region with Ford Trimotor and Stinson Reliants.

Seeing the top view, I think that the joint of the vertical & horizontal stabilizers it´s a little bit narrow fwd, considering the massive variable incidence tailplane. Maybe I would go for a fatter and stronger movable bullet fairing just like the Il-62 or VC10… See the VC10s screwjack system here: http://www.vc10.net/images/tailplanejack_eaaops.jpg

On the LH side views, the wing nav light should be red…

You mean a passenger to freighter conversion or a factory-made combi aircraft? U can do both… ;) For the first I would just replace transparent windows with metal/composite plugs, and for the later, just remove them between pax doors, and left the aft portion to carry passengers…

I want a position in USV Ministry of Aeronautics...

Combi-Freighter could be something like the 737-700C, where seats are removed to carry cargo, or like some other aircraft, you can also fly both cargo and passenger in the same plane (depending on the layout, cargo in front, seats in rear, or in the case of the 747-400M, seats in front and cargo in rear, but this requires a rear cargo door).

That is exactly what i want to do, an aircraft where you can just remove the seats and replace them with cargo. I have seen some pictures of the Boeing 727 Combi and the 737-700C and i noticed they keep the windows so i supose it will be easy to make a VA-1000CF.

While i do it i leave this to continue with the VA-1000 liveries:

VeneAvia - VA-1000-10 Iberia

Hi everyone following Progress advice i have modified the C-10C and now it has larger intakes along with cones to slow down the airflow.

CAV AC7-400

[ img ]

Studies into a higher capacity version of the AC7 were instigated by the development of the VA-1000-20, originally a more conservative 4 meter strech with capacity for 212 passengers was considered, but when the final VA-1000-20 design was shown publicly it was realized by CAV's development team that a larger aircraft was needed and as a result the 4 meter stretched design was dropped in favour of the more radical 9 meter stretch althought the 4 meter streched fuselage would later be used for the AC7-500.

Compared to the AC7-300 the 400 featured a 9m fuselage stretch, more powerful TR-6-25A engines, higher weights and encreased wingspan. The aerodynamic improvements developed as a result of the original AC7 flight test programme were incorporated. The result was a superb aircraft which sacrificed some of the AC7-300's airfield performance for greater efficiency including seat mile operating costs. It flew for the first time in June 1964 and Viasa inaugurated services between Caracas and Miami in February 1965. It was soon used all over Viasa's network and proved to be a popular aircraft with passengers.

Specifications (AC7-400):

General characteristics:

Crew: 3
Capacity: 248-266 passengers
Length: 55.13 m (180,87 ft)
Wingspan: 45.24 m (148,39 ft)
Height: 13.40 m (43,96 ft)
Wing area: 271.9 m² (2926,71 ft²)
Empty weight: 85,600 kg (188715,56 lb)
Max. takeoff weight: 164,200 kg (361998,77 lb)
Powerplant: 4 × VeneAvia TR-6-25A turbofan, 26,000 lbf dry thrust each
Fuel: 90,300 L

Performance:

Maximum speed: 960 km/h (596,2mph /518,36knot)
Range: 11,400 km (7083,63 mi)
Service ceiling: 12,000 m (39,400 ft)
