These are big ships (battlecruiser/ fast BB) with 10x16" they are able to take on any of the equivalent ships of the time (Hood, Repulse, Kongo's) and even the ships contemplated in the early 20's, US Lexington, Japanese Amagi, and UK G3's, would have found trouble with this class of ship.

varyag is certainly a match for Akagi! The only thing that concerns me is the submerged torpedo tubes. Akagi would have carried torpedoes but in fixed beam tubes, the day of the submerged torpedo tube was over by this point...

He led an uprising against the Commonwealth and its magnates (1648–1654) which resulted in the creation of a Cossack state. In 1654, he concluded the Treaty of Pereyaslav with the Tsardom of Russia.)

Hetman Sahaydachniy class battleship.

Hetman Sahaydachniy - Petro Konashevych-Sahaydachniy ((1582 – 1622) - Ukrainian political and civic leader, Hetman of Ukrainian Zaporozhian Cossacks from 1616–1622, a brilliant military leader both on land and sea. While being a Cossack Hetman, he transformed the Cossack Host from the erratic military formation into regular army. Under his leadership the cossacks, the Orthodox clergy and peasants had been begun to emerge as the united nation.)
Hetman Doroshenko - Petro Dorofeyevych Doroshenko ((1627–1698) was a Cossack political and military leader, Hetman of Right-bank Ukraine (1665–1672). His great-granddaughter is Natalia Pushkina (Goncharova). Natalia would marry the poet Alexander Pushkin, and have a daughter named also Natalia, who was named the Countess of Merenberg following her marriage to her husband, a Nassau prince. Their descendants subsequently married into, amongst others, the Romanov dynasty and the Westminster and Milford-Haven noble families of Great Britain.)
