I admit I drew that monstrosity many, many years ago (probably before I even officially joined SB!). It is indeed out of scale and looks terrible. I think I will draw all three of the studies in the proper SB style. Another project for 2015 but one I'd be tempted to do when I've finished the current BB/BC project.

Which aircraft to choose for replacing Fokker F27 in my air force and army? Timeframe from 2010 onwards. Since I have the Do-31, the F27 replacement does not need to transfer vessels. Useful load about 8 tn, turboprop, origin officially no problem (except CN-235/295 because AU Turkey has both types). As the F27, loads were paratroopers and various loads in pallets. It must be capable of taking off from 1000-1200 m runaways (most island airports are this length, F27 worked well). Requirement is for 24-26 aiframes.

I'm a fan of the C-27J

Aircraft from other AU nations can participate also. I prefer have something different than real Hellas.

Spartans would make sense to me. They're quite popular around that area too.

Very popular, eleven total in two countries. The Spartan had several problems and finally real Hellas cancelled the last four airframes from 12. Total number of Spartan built in real world are about 80-90.

Something else?

Unless you want to go Russian there's not really much to look at.

Russian or Ukranian aircraft would move the time frame a bit earlier. The An-74TK 200 for instance. Already I have Russian aircraft in service in my AU, the Be-200.

Why not just go for C130Js if your AU budget will cope ? or an updated AU C160J ?

I have already 22 C-130M, which were the first Js, locally upgated from E and H. HLK is partner to C-130J and built several parts for these. However, the "M" has upgrated GE T-56, simply because Hellenic Aerospace Industry manufacture spares for T-56 and rebuilt them since late 1970's. Also the P-3 Orion use them. Both types feature the new props from 2010.
