it might be me, but the shape of the casemate battery looks a bit corrupt to me, maybe an idea to draw an top view sketch of at least that section to check if it works?

ah, that makes sense. not ideal, but it works. you might want to look into putting the forecastle break more forward though so you have a bit more of forward field of fire of the first casemate.

I think it works. Since you have four forward upper-deck mounts, a decent field of forward fire for the lead casemate is perhaps not as essential as it might be if there were no upper deck mounts.

I'm not against the concept. What speed is she designed for?
The added IJN style features is a little odd looking though for an RN ship (you've a double-black pixel aft). The lengthened refitted version looks very good, but the long stern section looks pretty weak to me and vibration and stress would be major concerns I think.

My thought was that Nagato was basically an updated QE (the IJN/RN talked a lot) so wanted to get a early Nagato with 15inch guns.

The stern was grabed from Nagato rebuild (admitadly by the time they rebuilt they where not talking so it maybe dosnt fit as well :( ).

Stats Rato - class fast battleship
Displacement: 32,720 metric tons (32,200 long tons) (standard)
Length: 215.8 m (708 ft 0 in)
Beam: 29.02 m (95 ft 3 in)
Draft: 9.08 m (29 ft 9 in)
Installed power: 80,000 shp
Speed: 26 knots
Armament:
4 × twin 15' guns
16 × single 6' guns
4 × single 76 mm AA guns

Rebuilt (45)
10x twin 4.5' DP guns
9 x oct 2pdr AA
24 x 20mm AA

Fit a Renown bow with the slight upswept configuration. Help stop the ship from being to wet forward. A common UK BB problem.
