Am I missing something? I was looking at some of the never-built designs and noticed that the Lion Class BB drawing has only 2 forward main armament turrets... I thought the Lion class was planned to have a 3x3 16" arrangement?

No, you've not missed anything; there were two designs covered; the one with the main guns forwars was a later design, still being worked over postwar, which was a bit of wishful thinking. But Bombhead is you man here as he has done a version of this design

The Lion I drew in never built designs is from this drawing found in Rebuilding the Royal Navy by Brown and Moore,and I believe was the last incarnation of the Lion.I did draw another which was more of a personal design.From what I can see the best drawing is by Hood here.

Would the two-turret configuration have been quad-gun turrets or just triple-turrets?
