Cheers!

A is most likely some kind of early TACAN unit.
C and D are most likely SPS series radars, don't have data on them ready so I should google them....
is B an SPS-10?

J is a CAGW-66132 "Sword" ECM monitoring antenna. That's the only one I can recognize. The sword and derby antennas were kept in service for quite a long time. It's on the sheet in my signature.

"B" appears to be an SPS-10 and "C" as SPS-12.

Last time I was in The Group folder. (some og us SB memebers are in it). The Forestall was around 40-50% done. Note not every member is vert active, and to do here correct is an Big rask for us that do work on here just from time to time.

Thanks for the help.

I've cross referenced this picture with another of an essex class carrier which seems to have the same equipment.
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File: ... _1950s.jpg

So it seems that

A = TACAN URN-3
B = SPS-10
C = SPS-12
D = ???
E = ??? Comms or Meterological sensors?
F = ???
G + H = WLR-1 ECM
I = ???
J = CAGW-66132 "Sword" ECM monitoring antenna
K = ??? Air Traffic Radar???
and the unmarked height finder should be an SPS-8A (?)

Here's a snap of the WIP for 1955...

Charybdis. There is an chance I might get some time to finish of the aft part of the Forrestal in a couple of days. that means I will finish of the raw drawing. then I will head on doing the outline work on the next ship on the project list.

oh I will do some detail adjustment on the bellow waterline hull... specially the shading.

Any effort you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. I haven't had any time since I started a new job but can do a bit over the next few days.
