I've sort of stopped reading this forum due to job and real life constraints but wanted to congratulate you on an excellent thread and wonderful drawings.

I'll be cooking up some Buckleys soon in time for Christmas. :)

The USS Foss (DE-59) as of December 1944, with 4x solo 40mm's replacing the torpedo tube:

The USS William T. Powell (DE-213) as of July 1944, same armament config, plus an HF/DF antenna:

The USS England (DE-635) as of February 1944 (with a "DE" prefix in the pennant number, which IIRC was later removed once into active service). She would be remembered for her superb, unprecedented record of six kills against IJN submarines in just 11 days of May 1944. A kamikaze hit at Okinawa in 1945 cut her career short and was sent home for repairs and APD conversion. The end of hostilities resulted in the cancellation of the modifications, and was later decommissioned and cut up for scrap.

The USS Gendreau (DE-639) in March 1944, in a Measure 32/11D paintjob:

The USS Paul G. Baker (DE-642) by July 1944, in Measure 32/22D:

The camo schemes are not that absolutely perfect, having used both the official paintwork plans and actual images to match and compare accordingly as needed. ;)

cheers ~ wb21
