Im working on with this issue, don't worry. But it is in the frontline of my agenda to make Shipbucket as accessable to new and older members as possible, and completly bullying-free zone where everyone can enjoy their stay + my friendship with Alex is one of the deepest I have for any of you bucketteers, so Im putting efort to this.

In meanwhile, lets all keep drawing shall we

Yes! Working on the E Class now...but having a hard time finding detail reference images of useable quality. Also have the F Class started. I basically want to do all the classes that served through WW 1. Maybe if I don't burn out I'll do the classes up to (but not including) the Fleet boats of WW 2.

There are a LOT of classes so if anyone wants to join in...feel free to do so. There's also a ton of subs from other countries.

And all this started as I was interested in doing a German Type VII (which I've not started yet...still gathering reference materials to do exactly what I want...down to correct weld lines and correct venting). It was to be a companion to Alex's Type IX.

Some mornings it just doesn't seem worth it to gnaw through the leather straps.

INS Tanin

HMS Springer was sold to the Israeli Navy in 1958 and renamed תנין (Tanin), Crocodile in Hebrew. Tanin participated in the Six Day War. She carried and launched naval commandos to attack the port of Alexandria, she then tried to torpedo an Egyptian sloop and was severely damaged by a depth charge counter attack. Her commander was awarded the Medal of Courage for his actions at the port of Alexandria. She received spare parts from her sister ship Rahav, formerly HMS Sanguine, when Rahav was retired in 1968. Tanin was listed for disposal in 1972.

good drawing, except that shading is a bit non, FD-standard.... but neh! how cares, a donkey is a donkey and a horse is a horse.

Very fine work. The shading is non-SB but given the quality of its execution I'm tempted not to care.
This thread has produced some great work from everyone who has contributed.
