I would like to see a post war version with boats amidships and a helipad at the stern. (And all the assorted 40s/50s radars)

Katakov class Battlecruiser
To accompany the Morskoye class battleships, were the Katakov class battlecruisers, named after General Aleksandra Katakov, commander of the Rossiyan 1st Infantry Division during the Great War. These ships were large and weighed 47000 long tons. They had a crew of 1,650. It was heavily armed with twelve 12 inch guns as its main armaments and twenty four 5 inch guns, four 90 mm anti-air cannons,forty four 40mm anti-air cannons, sixty six 25mm anti-air cannons. It was protected with belt armour which at its thickest is 12 inch thick and deck armour that that 3 1/2 inches thick. There were fifteen of these ships constructed during the period of 1941-1942.

- USN - Alaska's (no these are defiantly not BC, really they are CBs

- IJN - Kongo's last built (pre Jutland) 14' guns
- MN(France) - Dunkerque-class cheap PB killers with 13' guns 26,500 t SD

So all BC are built pre Jutland or due to cash and treaty limits, why would you spend 47,000t on something with 12' guns ?

Have a look at HMS Guards Van and see what you could get for that sort of tonnage (not that you really should when you have CVs and Morskoye class battleships x 15

)

Hope you don't take my (hopefully constructive criticism) badly, and it would be nice to know speed etc, as that will have huge effects on tonnage (can you please set out all your ships details the same, and maybe on the same page as well ? )

So you can add any fast battleships (how fast is fast ? are SD/KVG/Y to slow) ships build post Jutland,

USN - Lexington's
- Iowa
RN - Hood/
- Vanguard
IJN - Amagi class
RM - Littorio class
MM - Richelieu-class
KM - Bismarck class

Not sure that any of them make sense to build if you have 15 monsters that can do 30KN.......
But if I was made to, I would stick to say 6 x 16 inch (2 x 3 all forward using same turrets as BB to save cost or 3x2 ABX if you have a twin design ready to go ?) and go with a bigger Dunkerque type ? (and push them to very high speed and have accept a week belt)

(45 KT, 6 x 16', 16x5', (no x 90mm), lots of 40mm, any you can fit 20/25mm Belt 9' (20deg sloped to help) Deck 6' 34KN ?)

The speed of these warships are 28 knots thanks to being powered by eight heavy duty boilers powering four steam turbines each. I don't really like a Nelson gun layout for the main guns, I prefer the traditional layout myself, it seems more natural for me. I am sorry but I am keeping the Morskoye class as they are

You can just edit the above post and just list any changes below it, its much easier to read the thread with only a few versions of your ships (but maybe leave any big redesigns to allow others to follow the thread).

if you want to also go back you could add all your ships to page 1 ? would make it easy to see your whole fleet in one rather than spread out over 28 pages.
