Some small arms of Hellenic Kingdom (in Franscale).
-Standard assault rifle is the EPK77/97, based on the FN FAL, which was manufactured under license from late 1960's to early 1970's. The 97 is the 5.56X45mm variant, which was built in small numbers from 1999-2003, under excessive testing. However, the older 77 is stil in use. An indigenous light grenade launcher (E-46LW/EPK87) similar with US M203 (40X46mm) developed in 1980's, plus several scopes, night vision and laser sights. The main difference of both from original FAL is the new handgrip at barrel, enable better grip when shooting. The foregrip can removed if necessary.
-The famous SMG Aris was based on M1A1 Thompson, rechambered for the succesful indigenous 7.92X36 EPK ammunition. First variant, the A1, retained the wooden parts of M1A1 and later A2/A3 use plastic parts (the A3 has a folding stock).
-In early 1970's the Ingram Model 10 entered service with Cities Police in 9X19mm. This led to SMG Micro Aris, an evolution of Ingram Model 10 more close to Steyr MPi69 in appearence. Stock is more robust and stable, necessary for a gun with very high rate of fire (1200rpm). The 5.7X28 EPK ammunition designed in cooperation with FN in 1990's, which increase capacity to 50 rounds.
