Okay so I forgot that the plan to make Jean Bart over into an AABB included replacing her 380mm guns with the 340mm/45 (1912) guns from the battleship Lorraine. Thank you Philippe for reminding me.

Once again Jean Bart AABB:

P.S. This drawing was revised (10/31/2014)

why the main gun change when the original guns were already in place? it seems like additional work to me, and she should not need it as weight ballance, would she?

The US Navy was then supposed to study them so that we could build the additional four needed to complete Jean Bart as she was originally planed.

Obviously the plan fell through, otherwise there wouldnot be a Plan 2--which I am getting ready to layout.

Matt,

At Colombamikes urging, I've redrawn the Bofors 44mm, Oerlikon 20mm and the Mk-51 overhead and front views . . . So look forward to another revision.

David

That's like waving a red flag in front of a bull in the case of one member. ;)
