I don't really have enough pilots for that in those years. The personnel limit for the Air Force then was 9300.

In April 1942, the first cargo ship converted to support amphibious landings was launched at the Beaumont Shipbuilding and Drydock Company as the AK-1 Guadalupe Peak:

Hastily converted from an existing cargo ship design, the Guadalupe Peak was a less-than-ideal-conversion, but her hull was a simple design that was easily adapted to the navy's use. Similar to the US Navy's conversion of existing maritime designs, the Guadalupe Peaks would carry several thousand tons of cargo for Marine and Army landing forces in Europe, and later the Pacific.

Lightly armed in April 1942 with just 4 3"/50 dual purpose guns, later armament would include 20mm Oerlikons and 40mm Bofors as air threat increased, especially for the Pacific theater.

Thanks to Novice for his excellent C1-A cargo ship. Incidentally, C1-As were actually built in Beaumont in the Pennsylvania Shipyard.

The Army's mobilization continues - the 35th Cavalry Brigade is redesignated the 35th Armored Cavalry Brigade, after the 1st Dragoons trades its horses for scout cars, light tanks, and medium tanks.

The 2nd Dragoons maintains its older fleet of Vickers six-ton tanks, purchased in the 1930s. But both regiments are armed with new, American built M3 Lee medium tanks. The 35th Cavalry Brigade serves as the Army's armored force while it organizes, trains, and equips full armored divisions in 1942.

Great additions!
Could You share at least general regimental TO&E's, please (without listing every handgun or radio station - just the major equipment like armor or artillery)? Am I right that it's rather quite similar in this aspect to historical US Army organization?
