Where did you get the information that our Leopard 2's are being upgraded to A6(N) standard? According to the defence ministry's Project 5050, 46 out of the 52 Leopard 2's are to be upgraded with better mine protection, new sights and improved climate adaptability. In terms of upgrades, it would probably be best if they went for the A5, seeing as the longer gun on the A6 pretty much makes it unpractical in Norwegian terrain. I think they actually planned to make them A5 a couple of years ago, but it never happened...


On a side note, I am KillerGuppi returned, if anyone should remember me.. I was unable to reset my account since I am using a new email.

The A5 is being upgraded to the maximum, but there are sat a amount of money for a couple new A6's... if they come within the time limit of 2022, I don't know. Because for me it feel short development time to develop an "N" version of it.

Americans are testing NSM, on one of there LCS. There is apparently a chance for Kongsberg to sign a gigantic contract if everything goes after plan.

the document stating that NSM is build for being launched from ship, from air (JSM), From ground... The document is stating something new and it is that they are developing an submarine variant of it... I'll bet US will like that one, if Kongsberg get everything to work.
