A long time coming, finally finished it (I hope), but here she is the Mauretania (II), the third and smallest member of Cunard's "big three" transatlantic express liners. The stern area is my only issue with this drawing, as it's not 100%, plenty sources exist for the forward areas but sources for stern detail are a bit spotty at best.

She was given Cunard's green cruising scheme in October 1962 and remained in this way until she was scrapped in 1965.

I have been waiting for this great ship... The docking bridge looks a little too tall, but other than that, great!

For me it looks quite good, although I'd add shading on rounded elements like funnels and similar.

A few edits made, as well as her final paint scheme before retirement. I have several other Cunard vessels (Cunard's less than famous cargo vessels) but I'm waiting to approved to submit in the main forum before I release those.

This is very good work. Not sure why it's in the beginners section.

I was under the impression, that you couldn't post in the main forum until you we're told by a mod that you could.

if I were you, I'd take a look at the hull shading though. it seems unlikely the bilge strake has the same shape from the aft mast entirely to the bow.

Amazing work. I think this one should go in the regular Real Life thread. Hope to see more Cunarders, but mind you, Andania of 1967 ( the two funneled freighter), is a ship I'm planning on doing myself. The Brescia of 1928 is also on the ways (about 45% done).
I hope to see more from you, anyway.
